Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Festival: Free

New York’s 2013 Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Festival, in Flushing (May 4, 2013) and Manhattan (May 18, 2013) is a free event expected to draw more than 20,000 visitors. The festival features Asian-American and Polynesian performances, fun activities for families, Asian foods and culture, and more.

“New York’s Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Festival is the nation’s longest running festival celebrating Asian diversity and participation in community events. It is presented in collaboration with 120+ community organizations and representatives from eight countries. It is the nation’s most prestigious such event and dedicated to celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander identity.”
