SF Bay Easter Egg Hunts & Bunny Opps

It’s that time of year again, so here are just a few of the San Francisco Bay Area Easter Egg hunts and Bunny opportunities for Easter 2013. There are others around the Bay, but these are all free or cheap, so hop to it.

San Francisco

San Francisco - Spring Eggstravaganza

WHAT: Egg hunts, carnival rides, live entertainment, and a BBQ competition. $8 per person.

Berkeley – Spring Egg Hunt Extravaganza

WHAT: Petting zoo, a visit with the Spring Bunny, spring-themed arts and crafts, an interactive kid’s carnival with fun prizes, Bunny Hop Dance Lessons & egg hunts for 2-9 year olds. Cost: $5.

Berkeley – Eggster Egg Hunt & Learning Festival

WHAT: Eggster Egghunt and Learning Festival (Free), the largest free egghunt in Northern California, is run by a non-profit student organization to benefit the local children’s organizations. A limited amount of food will be available: $1 bottled water, $5 grilled cheese sandwiches.

Hayward – Bonnet Parade and Easter Egg Hunt

    Washington Manor Park- 10:30am for kids 10 and under. Saturday March 30th.

  6. St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Mountain View will be holding its egg hunt on April 8 after the 9am service, but the Easter Bunny will *not* be making an appearance this year.

    Malibu Grand Prix in Redwood City is holding it’s Annual Free Easter Egg Hunt on April 8th, 2012 from 11:30am-3:30pm. Bring your own Basket. There are thousands of Easter Eggs and Prizes. Free photos with the Easter Bunny, and our mascot Maliroo. Free Facepainting and Balloon Animals provided as well as hourly Raffle Drawings and a Grand Prize Drawing for a new iPad at 3:30pm. Registration for Hunts begins at 11:30am and ends at 12:30pm. There are 2 hunts-one for 5 and unders and a 2nd for 6-12 year olds. Hop on over to Malibu and have some FUN!

    Please join us at the annual East Palo Alto Easter Family Fun Day on Saturday April 7, 2012 from 12-4pm at Bell Street Park. The free event will be filled with joy as the children participate in the Easter Egg Hunt, arts and crafts, rally races, entertainment by local youth organizations, food trucks, and more! Various activities for kids of all ages and their parents have previously made this an unforgettable day for the community of EPA. Thank you to the event co-host, the EPA Police Activities League (P.A.L) !!!!!!!!! Come out and learn what P.A.L is all about!

    The purpose of the event is to foster community-building, educate, and provide a well-deserved day of amusement for families of various ethnicities. Several local non-profit organizations and social services will have booths whereas they can educate the people of assistance available to them, such as the American Redcross.

    In 2011, the EPA Easter Family Fun Day attracted over 500 people to Bell Street Park in EPA! . The undeniable success of the 2011 event, lead us to believe there must be a 2012 follow up.

    On Saturday April 23rd, the non profit organization, The 1-800-JC Project, will be hosting a grand Easter Egg Hunt: Community Event. It will be a fun filled day for the whole family. There will be live music, food, cotton candy and sno cones, youth performances, arts and crafts, great hunt prizes, raffle prizes for all ages, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Come be apart of the First Annual 1-800-JC Project Easter Egg Hunt. It will take place at Bell Street Park in East Palo Alto on University (next to the YMCA). The festivities are from Noon till 4pm. Hunt begins at 2pm. Come early to enjoy the fun activities!
