The 2012 California Poppy Festival at Lancaster City Park (April 21-22, 2012) celebrates the eye-popping color of the California state flower. This year marks the festival’s 20th anniversary, and more than 50,000 are expected to attend. The event features two full days of live music and dancers on four stages, arts and crafts, festival food and drink, animal attractions, sand sculptures, an international market, and even strolling pirates.

We’re not the event organizers and have nothing to gain by passing along offers we find out about, so we’re glad you wrote in about your experience. I was just at the city of lancaster to buy tickets for the poppy festival. They are not honoring your “deal” for a $1 discount. I went there for nothing.
