The Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade rolls this year on Memorial Day, Monday (Monday, May 27, 2013). The 2013 parade theme is “Saluting the Price of Freedom.” The parade takes place rain or shine. Not much information is available for this event, but you can expect live music and other activities along with food venders and Memorial Day activities.
For 2013, community judges will give out cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for floats, autos, and marching units. Also, a car show will be featured this year at the First Baptist Church.
