You don’t need to be a horse lover to enjoy Cavalia on tour (out this week in San Francisco and Orange County — see below). This Cirque du Soleil-style show had everyone in our party mesmerized. The music help set the magical dreamlike mood of the show, along with panoramic landscapes created by 18 video projectors and stunning backdrops of iconic settings such as Monument Valley, Easter Island, and the African savannah.
I saw Cavalia when I was in Phoenix, and it is truly magical, whether or not you know anything about horses. The show is now twice as big as when I saw it, showcasing more than 100 performers, 50 horses from all over the world, riders, aerialists, acrobats and dancers, musicians and singers.
