If the kid in you still loves kites, head over to the Kids & Kites Festival at Cricket Hill in Lincoln Park (May 4, 2013). This free annual event, put on by NATO and the City of Chicago, features all things kite — creative kite demos, kites for sale, and free kite kits for kids.
Kids will also enjoy the Big Kite Candy Drop, Brookfield Zoo’s traveling Bug Exhibit, face painting and balloon art.
