Discovery Science Center: FREE Days

Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, CA offers FREE general admission days. Santa Ana Free Days are the first Tuesdays of every month. And on the first Saturday of every month, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch credit or debit card holders can get in free through the “Museums On Us“ program. Simply show your Bank of America debit or credit card to get in free. These free days tend to fill up fast, so get there early. Cheap snacks for the kids are available and there is a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut on site.

“Kids can’t get enough of Eco Challenge, a newer exhibit featuring a simulated grocery store where kids can learn to make eco-friendly shopping decisions and become a green superhero! You can also go for a scavenger hunt in Dino Quest, experience a rocket launch at the Boeing Rocket Lab, lay on a bed of nails, climb a Rock Wall, shoot a hockey puck at a virtual goalie, ride out an earthquake in the Shake Shack, and participate in fun science experiments.”

WHAT: Discovery Science Center FREE admission days – The first Tuesday of every month is Santa Ana Free Day. Admission is also free the first Sunday of each month for BofA and Merrill Lynch cardholders. Just show your card and ID at the door. Note: Free days are especially busy days to visit.

DEAL: On other days get tickets for a buck or two off the regular admission (gate price now $14.95 for adults, $12.95 for kids 3-14, and free for 2 and under). Extra fees apply for 4-D movies and certain exhibitions.
