The 2012 Golden Dragon Parade and Chinese New Year Festival (January 28 – 29, 2012) is free to attend, although the festival food may entice you to open your wallet. Ad the largest Chinese New Year celebrations in Los Angeles County you’ll also get your fill of floats, dancers, bands, firecrackers, and the famous Giant Dragons.
WHAT: The 113th Golden Dragon Parade and Chinese New Year Festival are both free.
WHEN: Golden Dragon Parade – January 28, 2012, 1-4pm. Chinese New Years Festival – January 28, 12-8pm. January 29, 2012, 12-5pm.
WHERE: Parade route along Broadway and Hill Streets through Los Angeles’ Chinatown. Festival – along Broadway Street in Chinatown.
