The Japan Festival, at Boston City Hall Plaza (May 19, 2013), will feature music and performances by local artists, typical Japanese festival games and activities, and food and goods booths. The festival is free to attend.
Last year’s festival at Copley Square was a huge success, so this year they’re expanding into a new location. The 2013 Japan Festival in Boston will focus on the theme of “matsuri,” the time-honored traditional Japanese-style festival.
