The Larkspur Flower & Food Festival on Magnolia Avenue, in Larkspur (May 26, 2013) features colorful flowers, floral arts and crafts, gourmet foods, kids activities, and dancing in the streets to the music of local Marin bands. The event is the Bay Area’s longest running flower and food festival, drawing 3,000 to 4,000 locals.
“Back by popular demand, the Marin Salsa Tasting Competition will feature local chefs vying for the coveted People’s Choice Award, followed by live salsa music. Gourmet and specialty food vendors will be sampling their products and inspiring the home chef.”
