The Legion of Honor, in San Francisco’s Lincoln Park, is a popular stop for visitors to the area as well as locals. The world renowned museum displays an impressive collection of ancient and European art, mostly French, in a beautiful setting that overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge.   1. Who should just get general admission tickets at the museum? Seniors 65+ ($7); Youths 13–17 ($6); and College Students with valid ID ($6). Unless you’re planning to visit more than just this museum. Then consider one of the following discount passes.

SAVVY TIPS: To help make your visit a little savvier …

  • Free Parking — Available around the fountain in front of the museum or along El Camino del Mar.
  • Public Transportation — Take Muni bus lines 18-46th Avenue, 38-Geary, and 1-California. The 18 stops directly in front of the museum.
  • Dining & Shopping — If  you go in the morning, stop in first at the Legion Café for a hand-pulled espresso and warm pastry.
