The Legion of Honor, in San Francisco’s Lincoln Park, is a popular stop for visitors to the area as well as locals. The world renowned museum displays an impressive collection of ancient and European art, mostly French, in a beautiful setting that overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge.   • Free Parking — Available around the fountain in front of the museum or along El Camino del Mar.
  • Public Transportation — Take Muni bus lines 18-46th Avenue, 38-Geary, and 1-California. The 18 stops directly in front of the museum.
  • Dining & Shopping — If  you go in the morning, stop in first at the Legion Café for a hand-pulled espresso and warm pastry.
