The 65th Ocean Beach Kite Festival (March 2, 2013) features kite making, arts and crafts, food and entertainment, and of course – kite flying. This is a free day of festivities including carnival rides, stunt kite demos, food and entertainment along with kite making, decorating and a flying contest, put on by the Kiwanis Club. New location at Dusty Rhodes Park.

WHERE: Dusty Rhodes Park, Nimitz Blvd & Sunset Cliffs Blvd, Ocean Beach, CA 92107 (across from Robb Field).
WHEN: Saturday March 2, 2013. 9am – 4pm.
Ocean Beach Kite Festival 2013 Schedule
- 9am – 4pm Craft Fair Booths and Carnival Rides.
- 9am -12pm Kite making, all materials will be supplied.
- 11am – 1pm Hot dogs and punch for participants & live band on Ocean Beach Elementary School court yard.
- 1pm Kite Judging.
