Orange County 4th of July Fireworks, Parades, Celebrations

Orange County in Southern California offers a small but spectacular array of activities for 4th of July 2013. From fireworks shows to boat parades to concerts and street fairs, you’ll no doubt find something fun to do with your family and friends this Independence Day.

Orange County 4th of July Events

Dana Point: Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza: July 4, 2013. 9pm at Dana Point Harbor. Fireworks show off the barge outside the harbor begins at 9pm. Free shuttle buses from Dana Point High School.

Fullerton: 4th of July Festival and Fireworks Show: July 4, 2013. 5pm-9:30pm at Fullerton High School Stadium at the corner of Lemon and Berkeley. Live music and entertainment. Fireworks at 9pm.

Huntington Beach 4th of July Celebration: July 4, 2013, 10am-9pm. Parade travels down Main St. from Pacific Coast Highway to Ellis. Pancake Breakfast in Lake Park – 11th & Main 6:30am – 10am (fee). Surf City 5K Run & Fitness Expo – Worthy Park, 17th & Main 7am-12pm. Free Pier Plaza Entertainment – Main and Pacific Coast Hwy 10am-9pm. Fireworks Extravaganza at Huntington Beach Pier, Main St & Pacific Coast Hwy, 9pm. View from the sand from the Huntington Beach City Beach between the HB Pier and Huntington St. Or get Pier tickets for $10/ea.

Laguna Niguel: Free Concert and Fireworks: July 4, 2013. Pancake breakfast at the YMCA, 7:30-11am. Concert 6-8pm at Crown Valley Community Park, 29751 Crown Valley Pkwy. After the concert, walk (3/4 mi. each way) to the Laguna Niguel Regional Park for the fireworks display at 9:00 PM.

Mission Viejo: Street Faire and Firework Spectacular: July 4, 2013, noon to 9:30pm, at Olympiad Road (between Marguerite and Melinda). Live entertainment, music, and food, craft, and game booths. Fireworks at 9pm.

Newport Beach – Balboa Island July 4th Boat Parade:  July 4, 2013. 1-5pm at Newport Harbor/Balboa Island. Over 100 vessels cruise through the harbor of Newport Beach, CA in California’s largest patriotic boat parade, Old Glory.

 Tustin Fourth of July Fireworks: July 4, 2013. 6:30-9pm at the Tustin High School Stadium in Tustin, CA. Live music starts at 6:30pm, fireworks at 9pm.
