The Oregon Zoo, in Portland OR, offers several savvy ways to visit, including discounted admission on the second Tuesdays of every month, and a small discount when take the transit system to the zoo. But one of our favorite ways to go is to get tickets in advance online. Do this and you can park for free (saving $4) and skip the long ticket line at the zoo.

DEAL 1: The Oregon Zoo Discount Admission on the second Tuesday of every month — pay $4 from 10am-4pm. FYI: Regular price is Adults (12–64) $10.50; Seniors (65 and up) $9; Children (3–11) $7.50; 2 and under Free.
DEAL 2: Get $1.50 off zoo admission when you take TriMet buses or MAX. Show your transit ticket and ask for the discount.
DEAL 3: Get print-at-home tickets on the Zoo’s website and you can park for free and skip the ticket lines. (Print free tickets at home for children ages 2 and under). Not available for Second Tuesdays.

SAVVY TIP: There are 960 parking spaces, with 17 reserved for disabled persons. The parking fee is $2 per vehicle. Members and visitors attending catered events are exempt from the parking fee.
