Looks like this coupon has expired?

Getting “The coupon code you’ve entered does not apply to any of the products in your basket.”.

Is there a new coupon code?

Michael — I asked my contact at the ticket source with the code (Trusted Tours) and it turns out there is a glitch in their system and they’re trying to fix it now. If you did get your tickets via Trusted Tours without the code working, let me know and I will see it they can give you the discount anyway. If you haven’t gotten your tickets, you can either wait a bit until they fix the problem, or try the workaround. Here’s what I’ve been told:

I have our team looking at it. I confirmed that when you put it in, it does not register on the checkout page. However, when you go back out to the store and then back into our checkout, it registers. It is very strange and we will have to take a look. I apologize for the inconvenience and will hopefully have it fixed ASAP.

        • says

Okay I just got word that the code glitch is fixed! Thanks for your patience. If anyone had trouble again, please let me know (and I will kick some more butt over there for you).

Yes, Dec. 21 is a blackout day, according to the source of these tickets. Here’s what I found on their website for dates not available (usually around holidays and special events):

      Thanksgiving Day Weekend (Nov 28-Dec 1, 2013); Christmas Holiday (Dec 21-Jan 5, 2014); Martin Luther King Jr Weekend (Jan 18-20, 2014); President’s Day Weekend (Feb 15-17, 2014); Easter Sunday (April 20, 2014); Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-26, 2014); 4th of July; Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30-Sept 1, 2014); Thanksgiving Day Weekend (Nov 27-Nov 30, 2014); Christmas Holiday (Dec 20- Jan 4, 2015)

  2. Ashu says

Hi, Thanks for providing the link. It works. I do have a query though – Is there any blackout dates for the tickets purchased through mentioned site?

    • says

Ashu — Yes, mostly holidays. Vouchers are valid for any day except the following over the next year (quoted from the offer site):

E-ticket vouchers NOT ACCEPTED on Holidays and Special Events:
Thanksgiving Day Weekend (Nov 28-Dec 1, 2013); Christmas Holiday (Dec 21-Jan 5, 2014); Martin Luther King Jr Weekend (Jan 18-20, 2014); President’s Day Weekend (Feb 15-17, 2014); Easter Sunday (April 20, 2014); Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-26, 2014); 4th of July; Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30-Sept 1, 2014); The Tramway will be closed for annual maintenance Sept 8-26, 2014.

A bit of a heads up for folks with regard to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram and this discount.
    1) There is no place on the online ordering place to add in the referenced discount code.
    2) The sight charges a $2.00 online processing fee for all orders.
Net/net trying to use the discount code ended up costing $2.00 more ($5.00 more if you count the hoped for discounted rate) per ticket than purchasing the tickets on location upon arrival.
Thought others should be properly informed. Great trip regardless!! Just costs more to get the tickets in advance of arrival.

    • says

Erik, I think you must have tried to use the code on the Tramway site instead of following the link on our post. I just double-checked everything by purchasing a ticket myself from from the source of the discount Trusted Tours. The code works fine, and no fees were added. An adult ticket was $20.95 total. As a bonus, the tickets are good any time you go.

However, if you tried to use the code on the Tramway’s own site, you wouldn’t have seen a coupon code box, and they would have added an extra dollar fee per ticket for a total of $24.95 per adult ticket. I’m assuming you bought two tickets, so they charged you $2. Also, you probably had to commit to a date and time.

With our Trusted Tours deal, you can use your ticket anytime, so if you change your mind and want to arrive later, no problem. I’m sorry if my post wasn’t clear. I’ll take another look and edit in a better explanation so other readers are sure to have a better experience.

Hi, Just wanted to confirm that we don’t need to specify a particular date when we buy these discounted tickets, ie we can buy now and use on a day of our choice in 2013? Thanks

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway coupon isn’t hosted by us, so we really couldn’t tell you. We just point you to the source. To be on the safe side you might want to get the online advance tickets (Deal 2 above).
