The Palo Alto Clay & Glass Festival (July 14 – 15) is a free celebration of objet d’art at Rinconada Park. The festival presents a delightful range of ceramic and glass artwork to browse and enjoy, even if you’re not actively shopping for new and unique pieces. You can meet the artists, learn about their art, and take part in free activities, like hands-on pottery-making and wheel-throwing demonstrations.
“Artist Susie Harper will demonstrate the art of glass bead-making from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by Lynn Wood demonstrating clay hand-building from 2:30 to 4 p.m. On Sunday, artist Adi Braeman will feature glass bead-making, followed by clay wheel-throwing by Tom Decker from 2:30 to 4 p.m.”
