The 33rd annual St. Patricks Day Parade in Balboa Park (March 16, 2013) features floats, bands, equestrian and law enforcement units, bagpipes, and of course the reigning Miss Colleen. The Irish-themed festival will have two live entertainment stages featuring folk music and Irish dancing, food and craft booths, two beer gardens, an authentic Celtic Village, and a Kids Zone with rides. The Festival and all the entertainment are FREE to attend.
WHAT: The 2013 St. Patricks Day Parade and Festival, free.
WHEN: Saturday, March 16, 2013. Festival 9am – 6pm. The Parade kicks off at 10:30am.
WHERE: Balboa Park, 1549 El Prado, San Diego CA 92101. The St. Patricks Day Parade starts from Sixth Ave and Juniper St, travels north on Fifth Ave to Upas, then over to Sixth Ave and south on Sixth to conclude at Juniper Street.
