Seafair Fleet Week on the Seattle Waterfront (July 31 – August 4, 2013), provides plenty of free fun, including the opportunity to tour the ships and meet the sailors who operate them. The Fleet will participate in the Parade of Ships in Elliott Bay.
“Experience the thrill of being aboard a magnificent Navy Ship and seeing first hand the inner workings of the vessels that patrol international waters protecting our country and providing aid, supplies and services to those in need. Sailors will be on hand to lead tours and answer questions.”
WHAT: Seattle Seafair Fleet Week 2013 – Public tours of Naval ships are Free.
WHEN: Wednesday, July 31 – Sunday, August 4, 2013. Times: 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Tours 9:30am-3:30pm. Thursday – Saturday and Noon-3:30pm Sunday.
WHERE: Seattle Waterfront – Piers 46, 66, 69, and 90.
SAVVY TIP: Visitors will be subject to search before boarding, and no bags, strollers, wheelchairs are allowed onboard. Children must be at least 8 years old.
