San Diego Sicilian Festival

The Sicilian Festival, which takes place on India Street in San Diego’s Little Italy district (May 19, 2013) is a free family event featuring a Sicilian Cultural Pavilion, authentic Sicilian food, a Peroni beer and wine tent, entertainment on four stages, free children’s rides, and more. You don’t have to be Sicilian, or even Italian, to have fun Al fresco at the Sicilian Festival.

The Sicilian Festival prides itself on its ever-expanding Cultural Pavilion, which features a wide variety of artists and historians, all dedicated to the preservation of Sicilian and Italian culture and heritage.

WHAT: The 20th annual Sicilian Festival is Free.

WHEN: Sunday, May 19, 2013, 10am – 6pm.

WHERE: India Street, near the corner of W. Date Street, San Diego, CA, 92101.

SAVVY TIP: Since it’s Sunday, take advantage of the free parking available on all the side streets. Also, free parking and shuttle service is available at 1600 Pacific Highway (north end of the County Administration Building).
