The Sonoma County Fair (July 25 – August 12, 2012) celebrates its 76th Anniversary this year with Wine Country horse racing, the rodeo, headline entertainment, spectacular carnival rides, junior and professional livestock shows, the destruction derby, and so much more. The Hall of Flowers features a tribute to the ‘Ports of Call’ from flowers around the world. Free entertainment will include an old-style vaudeville show, turkey races and lots more.
WHAT: Check the Sonoma County Fair website for details and updates on discounts and free days, but here’s the gist:
- General Admission: Adults $10, Children (7 – 12) $5.
- Food Bank Fridays: Bring 2 cans (or bags or boxes) of nonperishable food for the Redwood Empire Food Bank and get $2 off on general Fair admission.
- Seniors: Admission is FREE on Thursdays if you’re age 60 or older.
- Children: Kids (6 and younger) FREE every day. Children (7 – 12) FREE on Fridays.
