National Parks Free Admission

More than 100 U.S parks that normally charge fees offer free admission on certain weekends in 2015, according to The National Park Service. Follow the links below to find out which National Parks near you will offer free admission.

For most U.S. National Parks Fee Free Days, entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees are waived or greatly reduced. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise. FYI: 265 of the 398 U.S. National Parks don’t charge an entrance fee ever.

  • January 19, 2015: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 14-16, 2015: Presidents Day weekend
  • April 18-19, 2015: opening weekend of National Park Week
  • August 25, 2015: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 26, 2015: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11, 2015: Veterans Day

SAVVY TIP: If you visit national parks often, check out the annual pass. For $80 a year, the pass gets you into all national parks, national wildlife refuges, national forests, and more than 2,000 Federal lands.     So many things we want to see! Enjoyed the Calif.academy of Science Today. My Husband just retired and we’d like to spend time doing lots of sightseeing and music perfomances.
