Worldwide Day of Play

If you’re in the DC area, here’s a heads up on Worldwide Day of Play (September 24, 2011), an event that encourages kids to put down the remote and get active. The flagship event takes place in Washington, DC at President’s Park, and is hosted by Nickelodeon, the National Park Service, and the National Park Foundation.

“You and your family are invited to celebrate on the Ellipse on the National Mall with a day of family-friendly activities hosted by the best in professional and youth sports, health and wellness and community partners. The stars from iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Bucket and Skinner, True Jackson VP and Family BrainSurge will all be there including Victoria Justice, Keke Palmer, Nathan Kress, Jennette McCurdy and MORE! Plus Big Time Rush and the Fresh Beat Band will perform LIVE from the event!”
